Dr. Nicholas Wegner grew up in Fort Mill, SC, and attended Clemson University where he graduated cum laude. He completed his professional education at The Medical University of South Carolina where he received several honors including the DeChamplain Scholarship for Excellence in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Student Award.
Dr. Wegner completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Indiana University while caring for patients at four Level I trauma centers throughout Indianapolis. He is trained in all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including dentoalveolar, dental implantology, cosmetics, anesthesia, trauma, craniofacial, temporomandibular joint disorders, orthognathic, pathology, and cancer treatment. He has also lectured on the topic of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery throughout his career. Outside of work he enjoys hiking, fishing, trying new foods and traveling.
